P5
Final poster
Evaluation
I made the killer stand in the centre of the poster so that he was seen by the viewers and had a much scarier feeling. I kept the knives visible to keep a scary feeling and kept his face visible. I made the title big so that it's the most visible part so people know what the title is and also added a red drop shadow. I put a catchphrase to get peoples attention and linked it to the title. I put the credits at the bottom of the poster because it's the least important part. I put a forest in the background because if the film was real it would take place in a forested area.
In my poster I initially wanted my poster to be more like nightmare on elm's streets poster with it being bright in the background and you would just see the outline of the killer and the knives however I ended up deciding with help from the teacher that it would look better if the background was dark and the killer had a bit of colour on him. This made the poster look a lot like more a horror film than an action film and it created a much scarier feeling on the poster.
