P4
Production photo shoot
I made sure Joe was in the middle of the shot because he
needs to be
I didn’t worry about lighting too much because I planned to
completely black out Joe’s features and just have the outline of him and the
knives
I brought in two fake knives for Joe to hold
Inspiration

Background photos
Poster progression
This is the preset I use for my poster

I added a forest as the background of the poster and turned the Saturation and lightness all the way down to make it seem creepy

I added a red light in the background

I added Joe on top of this and used the saturation and lightness to black him out I also increased how big the red light is

I added two sharper knives because the other ones were blunt knives

I added the title of the film with the "Who asks satan" font and made it 144 pt

I added where the credits would be

I added the release date with the "Who asks satan" font and 72 pt size

So far the poster looks good however I could make it so that Joe isn't completely blacked out
I changed the poster so it looked better with Nick's advice

I got rid off the red because it makes the poster look more creepy

I changed the poster sizes because it was incorrect

I made the title bigger and made the date shorter

Photoshop effect
I wanted to add a texture over this

This is the texture i wanted to add over it

I turned the saturation all the way

Now i pressed Overlay

Then I clicked on create clipping mask on the texture layer

Then I clicked on the image tab, adjustments and then levels

I then changed the levels until the burger king logo looked like this

Target audience
I think this posters would suit the target audience because it is a very dark poster with only the knives and the face showing and the font is a creepy font.
Evaluation of process
When taking shots for the poster I did not bring in real knives and instead edited them in so it wasn't illegal. We took the pictures inside the photography studio so we took the pictures in a safe environment. We put covers over the lamps that provided the lighting so that no one could get burnt if they touched them. We made sure the floor was clear so that people can't trip over anything. We made sure people weren't always walking around so that there was not a risk of walking into other people. The equipment was all in the light so people don't walk into anything.
